Introduction From Host: Many of us hear "human trafficking" and picture an overseas country or a big city like New York City or Los Angels. All sorts of stereotypes come to mind as we imagine what the victims or perpetrators must be like. It is much more surprising to learn that it is happening right here in Fort Collins, to our youth in our schools. Things are not always as they appear. The buddhist teachings profess, the greatest wisdom is seeing through appearances, so isn’t now, the perfect moment for you to pause, self reflect and reframe your judgements, so you can find dignity for all humans? Our next presenter speaks out by inviting you to walk along side her as she paints a local picture of human trafficking and her own realization of how preconceived judgements were simply wrong.
