16,024,945 - Youtube Video 2007 - Greenhouse Effect Brandy 1991 HQ - BMI Music THE CLASSIC - HOLLYWOOD CALIFORNIA - THE CLASSIC SONGWRITING OF GREENHOUSE EFFECT "BRANDY" first originated in Late 1991 with a guitar strumming idea that Clark Hagins describes as a bit Genesis like: "On the album Selling England by the Pound,..which i love,..there is a song called Dancing with the Moonlit Knight ,..I sorta borrowed the Steve Hackett riff in their that mixes minor chords B Minor Sharp to F Minor Sharp to G Major ,..but then I tweaked the idea into this uptempo straight drum beat and the idea began to evolve into this The Cure meets Morrisey thing with a little U2 and Joy division ,...I realized at my house at 251 Padeo De Gracia in Torrance CA ,..that I perhaps had stumbled upon this "Hit Song" like idea !!! The lyrics of the track seem to be garbled random poetry ,..snippets of lines,.. "Well,..the band Nirvana was very hip at the time ,..and Kurt Cobain lyrics were a lot like mine ,..they were random cryptic sentences that often didn't go together coming from the mind of a confused sad and twisted individual ,..When i heard all those Songs from Nevermind on the radio, ..it totally had an effect on my songwriting ,..and I wanted to write a dance Top 40 hit sorta like those ya know structured Verse Chorus organized precise stuff ,. ,..but that had big guitars on it ,..ya know ,..a 90's emo-alternative'grunge Anthem classic !! And "Brandy" was it indeed !! Rejection from women or one woman seems to be the theme of the song but Hagins says that is not necessarily the case,... "My Music Producer in the South Bay was this guy named Bill Krodel and he had a bad drinking problem and one day he said he was drinking Brandy all weekend ,... and that is where the name title came from !!" Haggins shopped the song to every major label using expensive music attorneys only to be rejected and the song sat on CD and cassette from 1991 for many years in drawers until Hagins uploaded it to His own Pro Surfing edited Videos in 1998 through 2001 ; "That track worked wonders with people suddenly,.. and the rest was history" says Haggins. In 2005 and 2006, the song exploded to popularity with MYspace and then in 2007 and 2008, Hagins began to generate mass income with the song at BlipTV and Google Video Com,...those 2 sites and many other video places would soon die and go off the air as Google purchased Youtube ,..and many of Haggins Youtube accounts would be banned and sadly deleted by 2012, 2013,...2014, etc,.."The internet has changed now ,...you can't buy views,...you cannot fake it til you make it today ,.. most video sites are gone and now I have ended up in the scrap heap with 00's has-beens like Tila Tequila, Perez Hilton, Lisa Nova, Nichol Bitchie, Andrew Breitbart, etc,..Tom from Myspace" the web is OVER !!!!" "Blogging is dead" Says Haggins ,... "Those days are gone" ,..."Youtube is a monopoly now ,..they ban virtually everybody today who isn't somehow a reality show with stupidity like gossip like the Kardashians,... it's over,..it's done" ,.."And if you're any kind of conservative on there,..your site is likely to be banned or demonetized ,..." ====================================== vimeo.com/256332101 @ #Rock this #intro #Hermosa #Hermosabeach #Redondo #SouthBay #ToyotaHotPass #Linkedin #DAYTONA500 #Torrance #Carlsbad #Surfing #Skate #OdioSalvados #Oakland #SanJose #Seattle #BAFTAs #شي_ممكن_يغير_مزاجك_بثواني #TheVoiceKids #Trump #palosVerdes #SanPedro
