"Addicted' is a G.e. Song which comes from the bands final days of 1991. Greg Tarpley plays some fine drums along with clarke higgins on guitar/ redondo beach = torrance band would later feature Martin Silva, Phil Keagen... 'Addicted' has been a success for greanhouse affect on the internet as the video documents the entire life of songer songwriter greg tarpley...as main songwriter for g.e., he and his band are credited with being amongst the first band to delve into a new late 1980's style called 'grunge rock' tarpley would often wear flannels and smash his guitar as bassist ric carmody would follow suit - sometimes lighting his bass on fire! the band would feature alot of drama with various band members coming and going, accusing each other of starting trouble, struggling with drug use and alcohol issues, and often culminating in cancelled gigs, infighting, quittings, and sackings long time drummer claerke higgins quit the band in 1990 sighting other members as 'totally impossible to deal with' only basssist ric carmody and tarpley remained into 1992 before dissolving once and for all for good completely in december of that year but first issueing g.e's most known song; "White black drama:" Black and white' as it is known is easily g.e's most known recognizable song as it has been seen around the internet some 7 million times linked tightly with tila tequila, lisa nova, via the zues robot and other programs..as of november 2007, black and white' has been awarded a google award for being seen over 5 million times and downloaded over one million world net times
