Research has led me to explore through movement improv scoring the notion of moving with the camera. I have various questions to explore, not least: Does the moving body and tool become extensions of each other? Can I truly record visceral representations of the body? Can the internal/external flow of this moving body be articulated through the screened body? What is the camera giving to the moving body? What is happening to notions of time and space? Is sound a multidimensional tool to visceral viewing?
