The MEME pavilion possesses a three-pronged conceptual basis – 'Accretive Complexity', the 'Voronoi Model' and 'Flux Landscape'. It has been designed to symbolise an evolutionary trajectory, with the structure evolving from one end to the other, becoming gradually more complex as the visitor delves deeper within in. The structural independence of each ‘slice’ of the pavilion allows for responsive reprogramming and huge variations in its form.
