CPU was one of my first experiments with computer programming and video. I was inspired by the idea of the first encounter with artificial life. How would a "life-form" born from a computer chip manifest itself to allow communication with a human being? Through the assimilation of "human" behaviors CPU interacts and reacts in a puzzling display of curiosity and violence, having said that perhaps this is just its way of being friendly?
