Djembe African drums, for adults, must be minimum 21" tall & 10-11" drum head. I bought what was advertised as a 13" head drum on ebay, and ended up with a 13" TALL, 5.5" drum! Authentic Djembe in every way except NOT for an adult! Laugh with me, not at me, please :-) Learn from MY mistake, question sellers before buying, be sure what you are getting before bidding. I did find out AFTER I bid, but once committed could not back out. Anyone want to buy a kid's authentic djembe drum? Sounds boomier than a 5.5" drum head should.
