eZ Publish is probably still the most underestimated enterprise CMS system, yet provides unique features in terms of flexibility to adapt to about any information need, whether it is about structured or unstructured data for large news sites, intranets or e-commerce systems. eZ Publish also benefits from the early adoption by the author of Apache Solr as the main search engine in its eZ Find extension. This powers not only domain specific search and navigation interfaces, but also represents an easy to use integration layer for glue-ing various information sources together. This talk provides insight into the lessons learned on various areas that touch ""content management"" at the very core and also provides insight into architectures and strategies to adopt in order to cope with a demanding and ever changing CMS market such as the mobile revolution taking place right now.
