Minds 마음들 '감정'에 대한 이해는 인간의 공감과 유대의 시작이다. 평범하다고 하기에는 스스로에게 특별하고, 특별하다고 하기에는 모두에게 보편적인 수많은 감정들이 있다. 우린 특별하다고 느꼈던 감정이 보편적인 것을 발견했을 때 우리는 안도의 숨을 내쉰다. '감정'이 없는 사람은 인간성이 없다고 할 수 있을만큼, 감정이란 우리에게 '인간다움'을 부여한다. '마음들'은 이러한 특정한 심리를 감정적으로 전달하기 위해 네러티브를 최대한 배제하고 직관적인 이미지와 사운드로 해석하였다. 시리즈 형식으로 제작되어 '빈 둥지 증후군'과 '편집증'의 두가지의 상반된 주제를 가지고 프로젝트를 구성하였다. 특히, 감정에 어울리는 분위기를 연출하기 위해 색상 선택과 애니메이팅에 심혈을 기울였다. Understanding emotion is the beginning of human sympathy and bond. It feels more special than normal to individual, but it also feels more common than special to all of us. When something peculiar turns out to be universal, sometimes we feel relieved. We can say a person without emotion is inhumane. Emotion is what people make be human. This project interprets particular mental state into intuitive images and sounds, excluding narratives as much as possible.
