“Boxing Shadows” is a documentary about dreaming big, feeling small, and testing your limits.Yang Shengnan and Ye Jin are like family. They live together, train together, and feel pain together. Boxing has made them inseparable, but it also threatens to tear them apart. As teenagers, both women left traditional education to put everything into boxing. Everything rides on their success. In this coming-of-age story, two young women - on the cusp of adulthood - try to realize their hopes and dreams whilst grappling with the limitations of their personal situations and trying to keep their friendship on track.
