Kevin and Sarah of Burlington, Vermont, hosted a barbecue for their neighborhood in September. College students and city residents came together, met, and bonded over the hotdogs and hamburgers, breaking down the sometimes tense border between off-campus students and residential families. The Greene Street Barbecue is one out of many events hosted by the Office of Student and Community Relations of UVM to try to improve relationships and create a sense of community throughout the city.
