The August Man Men of the Year issue is one that we hold dear to us. It captures all that we have tried to achieve with the magazine since it launched in Sep 2008, in a single issue. The term "August" as I often explain denotes grandeur and it it something which we believe can be reflected in one's intellectual capacity or physical capability, qualities that we associate with success and conquests. These are characteristics that are not easily found and hence we believe it is essential to honour these fine individuals. This year we continue our quest and we are very proud to feature these personalities. It is a diverse group and perhaps one that wouldn't ordinarily come together but the fact that we feature them on a single platform I believe is a huge achievement. They may be different but the common quality they all share is that they are all making a difference in their respective fields. This year we feature a woman, former Miss Malaysia Deborah Henry. To push on after facing disappointment takes true character and that is an exemplary quality. And on a lighter note, in featuring Deborah, we succeeded in doing something quite extraordinary - putting her next to Namewee! - from AUGUST MAN (Malaysia's Definitive Men's Journal) : December 2011 - Featuring : Joel Neoh Dzameer Dzulkifli Deborah Henry Gambit Saifullah Reza Salleh Woon King Chai Namewee Chang Yoong Chia Aubry Mennesson Edan Syah Tony Eusoff This video was used to launch the Men of the Year 2011 event on 2 Dec 2011 at Whitebox @ Publika, Solaris Dutamas.
