Newer version — fixed —https://vimeo.com/350665471 Fast VR Test - 1st launch https://vimeo.com/351851336 Old large world parachute game test —- https://vimeo.com/320442916 My noob game concept load test (don’t have much time to spend so it was a one shot trial to load it to a decent computer) Fast port from old laptop to my new Prime Day $400 PC from my game made in last 3 weeks (1/2 hr/day) + video of old game compiled from March, new game set to high graphics and didn’t run any batch compression or optimize object loading LODs (so performance drops) for a fast test to see how new game would run uncompressed and with far details/extra objects and real-time full shadows (shouldn’t exceed 2 million tris or 1000 batches once optimize)... and I didn’t have much time so only 1 hr to port it over and drop prefabs everywhere ... ew some of it didn’t look so good... pretty sure I noobed up something simple to 2x-3x the tris and setcalls In a rush and had to upload from cellphone... you can hear my wife singing what she thinks of the game lol... didn’t get obs set right in my 1 hr window was too large a file All custom content by me except ——unity standard animator controller assets/animator/scripts, my friend Nikkel’s axe, and a basic FPS code from online (https://wiki.unity3d.com/index.php/FramesPerSecond), and using the wonderful XRA IMP free to use Impostor asset (https://github.com/xraxra/IMP) Use unity3d, blender, gimp, obs, MakeHuman free/open source software = own all my content legit, exception to some old student version solidworks castles dropped into the game that I made a while ago Estimate I’m about 200-300 hours into learning game design, modeling, and coding in the last 18 months ... still Super Uber noob
