November 2011 episode of Access America featuring the STAGES program. STAGES stands for Students in Transition Achieving their Goals Empowered and Self-confident. Students in the program meet with transition specialists in small group or one-on-one settings during normal school hours. Students gain self-confidence and develop skills that enable them to live and work independently when they leave school. Throughout the year, participants prepare for the challenges and opportunities of responsible adulthood.
