Zahra Killeen-Chance’s choreographic work, GO GO DO, premiered in Auckland’s Short and Sweet Dance Festival, 2012. It was the Supreme Winner of the Festival and will be re-performed in Australia later this year. The work is an intricate study of 60‘s go-go dancing film clips. GO GO DO deconstructs the classic go-go dancing style by isolating, repeating, underplaying, exaggerating and undulating particular movements.
