Featuring iconic music producer Pharrell Williams, the brief was to design a ‘Pure’ world representing the artist’s creative process within a stripped back, industrial milieu. The timeframe from initial sketch to concept approval was tight. Following a shoot in LA, the turnaround from rushes to initial 60 sec output was just two weeks. Modelled in Maya, lite with Houdini, rotoscoped in Nuke, designed in After Effects, fluid simulation in RealFlo and composited in Flame.
