This is made up of the story boards I drew to plan the short film 'ekki mukk' - I then placed them in time to the music as a way of planning the general pacing and storytelling before shooting - very helpful to discus with people, such as the Director of Photography... It is interesting to see what got dropped (especially the cow at the beginning due to logistical problems - safety issues about leaving a cow unattended above a busy road!) and how much stayed the same! I hope it also helps people see that you don't have to be the greatest of artists to draw your own story boards - just that you communicate what is important - in my case I wanted eyelines and body language to tell some of the story, for instance. It's funny how unchanged it is from this to the finished product - and yet also how utterly different it is! Now that is the magick I look for in a film.
