In May 2012 Diet Coke asked various figures in Irish fashion one question. This video was made to promote Diet Coke’s partnership with NCAD. Diet Coke is well known as a lover and supporter of fashion, with previous collaborators including Karl Lagerfeld, Diane Von Furstenberg and, most recently, Jean Paul Gaultier. It is this fashionable thread that leads to this exciting new adventure as the official sponsor for the National College of Art and Design’s Fashion Show. To celebrate Diet Coke has created a series of three short films entitled Stitched Together, which follows the journey of the graduates and the history of the college. The NCAD Fashion Show is the highlight of the Irish fashion calendar as talented new designers assemble to present their collections. NCAD’s fashion & textile graduate alumni include some of the world’s finest designers including Simone Rocha and Orla Kiely, while others have gone on to enjoy illustrious careers with Armani, Vivienne Westwood, Valentino and Diesel.
