Baja Scrambler is a stunning, 6½‑minute visual essay directed by David Martinez and featuring Paul d’Orléans, tracing the legacy of the original Baja scrambler—the 1964 Honda CL72. Richly captured in crisp desert light, the film blends raw riding sequences across the Baja peninsula with Paul’s firsthand narration of the iconic 1962 timed run by Dave Ekins and Bill Robertson Jr., who became the first to ride from Tijuana to La Paz in under 40 hours—a ride that sparked the Baja racing legend and led to the Baja 1000.
