1968 JEEP GLADIATOR walkaround, starts with a crawl thru shot of the undercarriage. The new exhaust system is visible as well as the general cleanliness of the engie and transmission. Not so visible is the chassis undercoating which has lasted well. I resprayed a few areas and the passenger floorboard crop and welded insert area. The Insulated gas tank straps and fuel pump mounted on the frame rail are not visible. On to the exterior, the paint is fresh the bed and exterior are rust free having been media blasted and epoxy coated before paint. The radio antenna was off for the cover to fit. The interior shows new door panel skins and sound insulation and carpet. The AC is intact not blowing cold air though, The radio and all instrumentation work however, however the main fuel guage is slow and inaccurate. The auxiliary tank behind the seat is empty. There is a separate fuel shutoff and fuel pump shutoff on the dash. The clock and glovebox light are not hooked up. The truck runs very well and drives like a 3/4 ton with 12 leafsprings, in a good way, much quieter since installing cab insulation and new elastomeric frame bumpers.
