I wake up in this city is a poetry film, that expresses my depression the last couple of years - which intensified the last few months - my emotions and feelings towards myself and the world that surrounds me daily. It's my personal struggle against the system, as well as a collective one. Understanding it's all connected. Despite it all, there is hope in myself and humanity - hope that it will all get better and we will for fight for it, the best and unique way each one of us can. Only through a worldwide revolution a deep social change is possible. Through filming I let go for a second of my anxiety.
