This is the theme song I made for the Bubble Houses Music Festival, a self-initiated project about mortgage slaves. The lyrics were made from stories of mortgage slaves and the melody was composed by transforming a house price data plot onto increasing music notes on the staff. Lyrics: (Please don't get sick my loved ones x 5) No. 11 Bus Clockwork on my back Clock on the wall Live off my parents Never argue with my boss Sticky notes know about my struggles The biggest fear of me is having stuffs stolen Broken, disappeared in the middle of nowhere Thrift shops and wholesale stores are my new favorites The bubble houses I live in The bubble houses The bubble houses The bubble houses I live in The bubble houses The bubble houses (Bubble bubble bubble bubble x 4) No longer need a barber Sigh but it doesn't work No party, no out-dining Just to save the paper Wipe off my tears Hills on my forehead Beggin' on my knees Redness in my eyes Worries on my mind The bubble houses I live in The bubble houses The bubble houses The bubble houses I live in The bubble houses The bubble houses
