Food Glorious Food is a Trinity College Dublin, student led initiative, set up with the aim of bridging the gap between food waste and food poverty in Dublin. We link Dublin food businesses with nearby charities for easy and effective surplus food redistribution. By participating in this initiative businesses and charities work together to alleviate hunger and avoid sending perfectly good food to landfill. We have currently two projects up and running and working beautifully! Honest to Goodness Farmers Market are donating the delicious food they have left over at the end of market days on Wednesdays and Saturdays to Don Bosco Teenage Care. The cafe at the Science Gallery are now donating scrumptious surplus sandwiches and coffee to Tiglin every Thrusday for their weekly outreach bus in Dublin city centre. If your business has food to donate, simply get in touch with us at foodgloriousfoodsife@gmail.com Directed by James Keating & Rhona Tarrant
