With the wonderful accomodations provided by Alex's rad brother Eddy, we decided it would be fun to do a long weekend in Barcelona. We ate fresh churros, baby octopus, incredible italian food and a very cheap and cloudy, but wonderful wine called Vino Turbio specific to Catalonia. Volleyball was played, tans were acquired and Barcelona immediately became my top city in Europe! Special thanks to Alex for giving showing me the local side of the city and putting up with my comically 'european' bathing suit. Bonus: No one got mugged or pick pocketed!
