Client: BBC World News Contact: Rob Burrell Strangebox was approached by BBC World News to help create a short transition from green screen studio to the surface of Mars. Naturally we were delighted to get into creating some sci fi landscapes. There were a few problems with the footage that was supplied to us . There was a lack of tracking markers on set and also barely anything to track at all as most elements had there own movement. This kind of thing can sometimes mean a complete re shoot but because we never like to see that happen we still managed to make the shot work.
