Designed to provide housing to as many families, as quickly at possible, the Khrushchyovkas (Soviet-era apartment blocks) were intended to be demolished nearly thirty years ago. However as explorer Kat explains, they are still inhabited here on Pirallahi Island in Azerbaijan.
