Some of the most controversial Bills in Nigeria today are the two bills seeking to amend the laws establishing the Nigeria Press Council(NPC), and the National Broadcasting Commission(NBC), the sponsor of the Bills say they seek to strengthen press freedom, but many including the media practitioners have tagged it a deliberate move not only to gag the media but also to bully the media.
