Sami Abu Shehadeh is a long term Palestinian activist and is currently a PhD student at Tel Aviv University focusing on Jaffa as an Arab Cultural Centre during Mandate Palestine 1920-1948. Sami is a leading activist in the Balad Party and member of the Tel Aviv-Jaffa municipality council representing Jaffa. The second edition of Sunday Conversation is in partnership with Kalimat Magazine as part of their “Kalimat Talks”. The series are open & informal discussions amongst stakeholders, educators, & creatives around art, media, design, culture & education in their wider social context of the Arab region.
