An animated opening that I created for one of the Movie Nights I put on for friends. We were watching a movie about the Titanic, so I created this piece. I used PhotoShop CS6 to do most of the animation and image work and a friend used After Effects to add the effect of old film (grain, scratches, jitter, etc.) and to add the shake where the ship hits the iceberg. I used found pictures, a little bit of found footage, and I shot a friend to get the head and upper arm of the captain.
