The story of Onur is a story of meeting a right person in a right moment in your life. For Onur such person is Mısırlı Ahmet - well-known turkish virtuoso darbuka player (darbuka is a traditional drum instrument used in Middle East and North Africa) In this short portrayal film Onur is speaking about darbuka, the role of Master Ahmet in his life and what you should do to find yourself and your way in life I met Onur in Istanbul last year when I was there for the holidays. He turned out to be as interested in music and playing darbuka as I'm interested in making videos so we decided to shoot this small piece rightaway. I didn't have any equipment except for my camera that's why the sound here is so bad. I added subtitles so it's possible to understand what he's saying.
