H20 vs. INK

2013-06-11 10 854 Vimeo

The extroverted immediacy of a Rorschach test is replaced by an open invitation for prolonged internal free-association in H20 v. INK. A psychological inkblot test meant to measure the initial, unguarded blurting of a revealing first impression has been shifted into a fluid and impersonal stream of evolving patterns. The percussive punctuation of a series of quickly vocalized thoughts is referenced but transformed. Ambient, electronically driven music and the slow swirl of ink through a bowl of water gently encourage you to reveal your subconscious interpretations to yourself. Music Composed by Wilbo Wright and Eric Haltmeier, Performed by 'Stop Correcting Me'
