With global events taken place at this moment with war breaking out between Russia and Ukraine, this teaching is vital to remaining steady and unmoved in God’s goodness to the Church in the Day of Jehovah Tsaba. This teaching is Part #2 of The Power of the Promise, and gives depth of understanding to the reality of what God has promised us as the angel of glory goes to the nations of the world to “shake” his “hand upon them” bringing them to plunder. Zechariah 2:8-9 “For thus saith the LORD of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye. (9) For, behold, I will shake mine hand upon them, and they shall be a spoil to their servants: and ye shall know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me.” Our teaching begins again this week with Paul’s writing as our text: 1Corinthians 15:51-55 “Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, (52) In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. (53) For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. (54) So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. (55) O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?” “Moment” – ἄτομος átomos; within the dividing of one second; from the same word used for the “splitting of an atom.” The Complete WordStudy Bible: “an indivisible point of time, an instant, a moment impossible to be measured in time.” All found in 1Corinthians 15:51-55 & 1Thessalonians 4:13-18 Takes Place in a Moment, átomos (twinkling of an eye) 1Thessalonians 4:13-18 AMP “Now also we would not have you ignorant, brethren, about those who fall asleep [in death], that you may not grieve [for them] as the rest do who have no hope [beyond the grave]. (14) For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will also bring with Him through Jesus those who have fallen asleep [in death]. (15) For this we declare to you by the Lord's [own] word, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord shall in no way precede [into His presence] or have any advantage at all over those who have previously fallen asleep [in Him in death]. (16) For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a loud cry of summons, with the shout of an archangel, and with the blast of the trumpet of God. And those who have departed this life in Christ will rise first. (17) Then we, the living ones who remain [on the earth], shall simultaneously be caught up along with [the resurrected dead] in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air; and so always (through the eternity of the eternities) we shall be with the Lord! (18) Therefore comfort and encourage one another with these words.” The Power of the Anchor of the Promise! Hebrews 6:13-20 AMP “For when God made [His] promise to Abraham, He swore by Himself, since He had no one greater by whom to swear, (14) Saying, Blessing I certainly will bless you and multiplying I will multiply you. [Gen_22:16-17] (15) And so it was that he [Abraham], having waited long and endured patiently, realized and obtained [in the birth of Isaac as a pledge of what was to come] what God had promised him. (16) Men indeed swear by a greater [than themselves], and with them in all disputes the oath taken for confirmation is final [ending strife]. (17) Accordingly God also, in His desire to show more convincingly and beyond doubt to those who were to inherit the promise the unchangeableness of His purpose and plan, intervened (mediated) with an oath. (18) This was so that, by two unchangeable things [His promise and His oath] in which it is impossible for God ever to prove false or deceive us, we who have fled [to Him] for refuge might have mighty indwelling strength and strong encouragement to grasp and hold fast the hope appointed for us and set before [us]. (19) [Now] we have this [hope] as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul [it cannot slip and it cannot break down under whoever steps out upon it--a hope] that reaches farther and enters into [the very certainty of the Presence] within the veil, [Lev_16:2] (20) Where Jesus has entered in for us [in advance], a Forerunner having become a High Priest forever after the order (with the rank) of Melchizedek.” Pastor Don provides teaching to strengthen your resolve to continue believing God’s great promise of the wealth conversion for the Church in this great event!
