In a development over the weekend, it seems Elon Musk decided not to join Twitter's board. According to Parag Agrawal, chief executive of the company. After revealing last week that Mr Musk had purchased a 9.2% stake in the social network platform, Musk's appointment was set to take effect on Saturday. But Mr Agrawal tweeted that "Elon shared that morning that he would not be joining the board." He said that Tesla's CEO is still Twitter's largest shareholder, and that the company will continue to be open to his ideas. Musk tweeted a cryptic emoji just over an hour after Mr Agrawal announced his decision. Since then, the tweet was removed.
