In Robert Mugge's 1984 film GOSPEL ACCORDING TO AL GREEN, singer Al Green and producer Willie Mitchell tell how they, along with drummer Al Jackson, created Green's classic recording of their composition "Let's Stay Together," then Green and his band perform the song in Green's own Memphis studio. Green also talks about being born again and performs related gospel songs. Music writer Ken Tucker opens and closes this extended segment from the newly remastered version of the film which MVD will release on Blu-ray and DVD in the spring of 2017.
