Open source Hue (http://gethue.com) lets you get started with Apache Hadoop quickly and makes the platform easy to access. Hue provides a common web UI to the core Hadoop components like HDFS, MapReduce and its satellite projects like Apache Hive, Apache Pig, Cloudera Impala, Apache Oozie, Apache Sqoop, Apache Zookeeper, Cloudera Search, Apache HBase. This talk describes how a synergy of applications lets the users focus on quickly extracting value from big data.
