In early 1984, Al Green performed a concert at the Bolling Air Force Base Noncommissioned Officers Club in Washington, D.C. The concert was filmed for Robert Mugge's 1984 film GOSPEL ACCORDING TO AL GREEN. Among the songs performed and used in the film was Curtis Mayfield's "People Get Ready."
