The coming of age story of a fatherless teenager who lands a job cutting hair in a neighborhood barbershop owned by two brothers - who teach him the life skills needed to accompany his exceptional barbering talents. Loosely based on the life of comedian, writer, and former Master Barber Akintunde Warnock, Sr. Half-Hour Single-Cam / Comedy-Drama Warnockâs life serves only as the skeletal framework for the series. Although not an autobiographical telling of his life story and those within it, the series will borrow from certain key elements and moments. The comedy / dramatic series will focus on many of the values that were both taught and caught by Akintunde as an impressionable young teen growing up around adult men.
