Demonstration of the Octopus system. Light sensors on the screen allow changing patterns in the film to drive an analogue synthesizer. Selected as an installation for the artistic program of NIME 2014 which was held at Goldsmiths, University of London, June 30 - July 3, 2014. http://www.nime2014.org 'The Octopus' has featured in live performances at the 'Experiments in Art and Technology' series of events in Kyoto and Berlin.
