This is one of the first Worship Songs I wrote about 14yrs ago and re-recorded about two years ago. "Abba" is an Old Testament Hebrew word/name for God the Father that is very intimate. It would be the equivalent of using the words Daddy or Papa for God today. This song expresses the believer's realization of there sinful nature in contrast to God's Holiness, but yet at the same time, a hope and trust in God for forgiveness and restoration thru trusting in Jesus.
