21st Awit Awards nominee, Music Video of the Year starring award-winning actors Jake Macapagal and Jenny Jamora ==== DIRECTOR'S NOTES: Actually, this was not the original concept for this music video. Orange and Lemons' album, "Moonlane Gardens" was supposed to be an entire film, and we (the band and I) were dreaming up ideas for six months. We even had detailed storyboards for the original concept for this video (and believe you me, it was going to be GOOD).* (*Footnote: Funnily enough, Gutch, our storyboard artist, ended up editing the video instead. A few years later, Gutch will appear as the young hero, Murasaki Blue, in The Dorques music video, "Murasaki Blue.") Unfortunately, the financing fell through (as it always does), and Clem and I came up with this idea in ONE NIGHT. Six months worth of dreams gone, and this concept was born out of one night of panic and beer. Out of the 39 music videos I've made in my life, this is one of my favorites (and it's not just because it stars my sister and my niece).
