To launch Real Stars Are Rare, the menswear label of music legend Paul Weller, 1984 collaborated with 101 founding partner Mark Elwood and John Brown media managing director Alex Silcox to create and produce the brand’s look book website and film. Shot in London’s iconic Somerset House and featuring an original track written and performed by Paul Weller, the result is a fashion film that showcases visual sophistication of the brand, whilst retaining the timelessness ingrained in the clothes. We are extremely proud to have collaborated with one of Britain’s most revered cultural icons and thrilled to wear his classic, yet utterly contemporary pieces.
