07:18, Full Color, Sound, HD Video, 2014 Synopsis: This documentary follows Laura Moehringer and her continuing passion of rock climbing over several trips to the gym. After being introduced to the world of rock climbing threw the Uconn outing club and later by a few of her close friends, Laura decided to joined the gym Central Rock in Glastonbury. Due to the friendly, supportive and over all positive environment that Central Rock has provided to Laura, she has continued to go and make vast improvements on her technique. Over time Laura has come to find rock climbing has become more then something to do to get exercise. It has become an almost addiction to her that must be fulfilled at least twice a week or she becomes antsy and craves the mental and physical release. Biography: Jillian Putterman graduated in 2013 with her Bachelors in Graphic Information with a minor in Fine Art, and is now in the middle of completing her Masters in Graphic Information Design at Central Connecticut State University. She is expected to graduate in 2015 with hopes of going into the field of graphic and logo design. When starting work on her Masters, Jillian received the opportunity to assist the Department Chair Eleanor Thornton in the class room and the office. Some of the responsibilities Jillian has includes collecting and handing out paperwork, taking notes during class, typing, working in the office/print lab as needed, and helping with collaborative works such as “Safe Halloween” with Community Central, Nuts and Bolts with Gallery 66, etc. Jillian has had the opportunity to do multiple internships including The New Britain Museum of American Art and the CCSU Design Department. While interning at the New Britain Museum of American Art, Jillian was tasked with the creation of event advertisements, creation of in house elevator calendar, helping with designs for the annual gala and updating events on the online calendar. During her internship with the CCSU Design Department, Jillian participated in the preparation and presentation of pieces of artistic expression at the UMC event celebrating art and community at the New Britain Museum of American Art. The theme for 2013, entitled “A Home of One’s Own” was a project to support the Mayor’s “Work plan to End Homelessness.”
