From Start Trek Deep Space Nine. Benjamin Sisko’s closest friend, Jadzia Dax, was recently killed. Jadzia Dax was a combination of two beings, the humanoid Jadzia and the symbiont, Dax. While Jadzia is dead, the Dax symbiont survived and has been put in a new humanoid host, Ezri.
