This is the first in a series of videos I will be putting together and releasing about the what the training entails, each of its individual parts, and what you can expect from the basic vs. in-depth training route (which will include certification as well). Those videos aren't quite ready yet, so here's a rundown for you all to be able to have the details on hand, set aside the dates, register, and begin preparing. Dates: 23 - 26 April 2024 (Level 1 of 3) Provided: 4 days of training Lunches on those days Your own set of sticks and equipment to begin with Not provided: Housing (this is in my own home, and I can't bunk all of you) Breakfast/Dinner Travel Location: Salem, UT (about 1 hr south of the SLC airport. The Provo airport, PVU, is 30 min closer and might have some decent Allegiant Air or Spirit Airlines flights, depending on the days) To bring: Comfortable clothes to wear and move around in. (Lots of bodywork, movement, and breathing) Any medications Diet-specific snacks you may need (we'll have a few general snacks) A swimsuit/towel for sauna and possible ice bath Notebook + pen/pencil An eagerness to learn Every deep pain you are ready to let go of :P (Only sorta kidding!) Total training (if you want all three levels, etc): Level 1 - Fundamentals of stick work, anatomy of breathing, sensitivity training, the prime directive of healing, relaxation training (includes first 2 sets of sticks) Level 2 - Deeper dive on stick work, working with extremities, coaching others through toggling breath for different effects, dynamic sensitivity training, percussion work (includes another set of sticks plus percussive tools) Level 3 - Postural assessment, leading movement practices and drills to release patterns, dynamic work while standing and seated, dismantling of limiting beliefs through perceptual challenges, leading breathwork sessions, how to stack practices for optimal effect, creating and leading single or multi-day events (may include other tools as needed) Retreat - Attendance at one Freedom Retreat is a mandatory part of the Comprehensive Training so you can experience firsthand the impact of stacking all of these pieces together in a short period of time. To make that a possibility, I am steeply discounting the retreat attendance from $4200 to only 1k for students going through the Comprehensive Training. Plus, each student will have the bonus opportunity to bring 1 to 2 others with them to the retreat at that same rate.
