Love Of God - Part 7 - No Words

“For God so loved the world… so he loves you!” Salvation is not complicated! Salvation is trading that which you cannot keep for that which you can never lose! It is all about Jesus, believing in Him alone and every truth in the Bible about Him. What must I do to be saved? The Bible makes it plain for us to understand. John 3:16-18 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son [Jesus] that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son. Believing what Jesus says about Himself is what saves us. John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” We should be amazed at what God was willing to do through Jesus, His only Son. Romans 5:6-11 For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. And not only that, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation. Just like we are called to believe in Jesus, Acts 16:29-31 The jailer called for lights, rushed in and fell trembling before Paul and Silas. He then brought them out and asked, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved? They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.” The Bible plainly tells us the entrance into eternal joy and heaven CANNOT be gained by ANYTHING we do. We cannot earn or perform any “deed” to appease the just wrath of Holy God against sin. We can only come through ONE entrance, belief and trust in Jesus Christ. Believing and receiving the gift of Salvation through Jesus alone is a choice that each one must make. John 1:11-13 He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: How does one receive Jesus? What does “receive Him” mean? Receive simply means to believe, trust and love Jesus Christ, the ONLY DOOR into God’s eternal perfect kingdom! Salvation is a gift of God! Ephesians 2:4-9 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ, and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast. Will Jesus forgive and accept me? Or do you feel like you’ve done too much wrong and that God would choose not to forgive you? Watch what Jesus does and says when a woman was dragged before Him when she was caught in the act of adultery. John 8:11-12 And Jesus said to her, “Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.” Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.” Jesus came for sinners, those who acknowledge that they are in need of a Savior. The question before you and every person is simply: Do you believe in and trust in Jesus Christ for your present and forever life? Where will you spend all eternity? Hebrews 9:27-27 He [Jesus Christ] has appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself. And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment, so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation. Do you believe that all people born into this world will die? Personally, do you believe that one day you will die? When you die, what happens to you? Where will you go? Do you believe there is a heaven and a hell? If you believe there is a heaven, why would you be allowed to go there to spend all eternity? 1 Timothy 2:3-6 God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a ransom for all. Jesus desires you to be saved, will you believe in Him and be saved? Acts 4:12 “Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name [Jesus Christ] under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” Do you have a place prepared in heaven for you by Jesus? John 14:3 “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. If you believe and trust in Jesus Christ, God has declared He will give you a new spirit and spiritually birth you into His family to live with Him in His newly created perfect world forever. It is impossible for God to lie. These words of God are true and fixed forever. Do you have eternal life with Jesus? - 1 John 5:13 I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God [Jesus Christ] so that you may know that you have eternal life.
