To position Cabela’s as a gift-giving destination for the holidays, Surdell and Partners created this amusing TV commercial featuring world famous big game hunter Jim Shockey. The spot appealed to both serious sportsmen and their spouses. Since the spot was filmed during regular store hours, a large crowd of customers spontaneously gathered to meet Mr. Shockey. He was gracious to all and took time to chat with his fans.
