This was the first Geek Squad Commercial my team did after Best Buy acquired Geek Squad from its founder Robert Stephens. We shot it with Kevin Smith of Backyard Productions. It was my call to add the 1-800 number to the spots and based on call volume we were able to overload the system, so much so, we had to pull the spot until the issue was resolved. Every time it ran, they set record call volume -- amazing to have that kind of measurable response from a great spot.
