PENTIRE (GB) x GIN PLAYER - Bay Filly 10% Shares available for $15,000 (+GST) It's a big call but this filly is probably the best bred filly to ever walk through the front gates at Denistoun Park. I am thrilled to be training her and we can only hope that she is half as good as her older sister ZARITA who was a dual G1 winner trained by Pat Hyland. ZARITA won the G1 SA Derby and the G1 SA Oaks as well as a host of other Group and listed races. She ran 4th in a Cox Plate and an Australian Cup and was an out and out super mare. If Zarita wasn't enough, this filly's half brother JOY AND FUN was a freak international sprinter winning the G1 Chairman's Sprint in Hong Kong and the Al Quoz Sprint on Dubai World Cup night. PENTIRE has been a fantastic stallion for a long time producing over 40 stakes winners on both sides of the Tasman. Apart from Zarita (pictured below), he has also produced Group 1 stars XCELLENT, RANGIRANGDOO (pictured below) and KING MUFHASA just to name a few. Both Zarita and Joy and Fun, were very plain looking horses. This filly is no different. She wouldn't win a beauty contest but she looks tough. She has a big shoulder and a deep girth which I love to see on these staying fillies. She has good x-rays, scoped clear and is ripping value for a filly with her credentials.
