In Water for Mother I explore the bond between daughter and mother and how it transforms through time both linearly and nonlinearly. The womb is our first connection to our mother. We are innocent, pure, and protected by the waves of water that are her embrace. As we dance through life we fall, we break, and we realize that all that we have is love. It is the opening of a bloom, a transformation, an opportunity to grow and to care for our mother as she cared for us. But this transformation is not simply occurring in one space. Both mother and daughter are growing together into sisterhood; wading through water and connected forever by a deepening love. “All materials sampled in this work are purely for creative non-profit purposes and will be removed at owner's request.” https://youtu.be/xjgXwJ_kmpo?si=yQJ-q8iqnVnwP3Wl https://youtu.be/8qyhhOM76Rg?si=WKD_6ozPLvCRa9cf https://youtu.be/LjCzPp-MK48?si=xXHzX17-2L5HTTJf https://youtu.be/JC41M7RPSec?si=AbTD7zLVteOPhIT7 https://youtu.be/JC41M7RPSec?si=AbTD7zLVteOPhIT7 https://youtu.be/ueAYUp4rHZI?si=o5ABErtDXUGinq0- https://youtu.be/a47B2IGdmjE?si=EpnugLBug9l6e0_P https://youtu.be/FkP4Ro2gRl8?si=rkSLXFRwcJUBPtWl
