I have always enjoyed so very many of Billy Joe's compositions. He wrote "Just The Way You Are" back in 1977. It has been recorded since then by many different artists, one of the most recent was Bruno Mars. I personally enjoy the smooth jazzy version by Canadian singer and very accomplished pianist, Diana Krall. I enjoy playing my Overwater "Perception" unlined fretless (2008) Bass. It has an unmarked Ebony fingerboard, maple neck and a Mahogany body, faced with Rosewood. The electronics are active using Overwater's own PUs and built-in pre-amp. It was built by Overwater, here in the UK. It is a joy to play. I recorded this practice video for all my friends who like to hear the sound of the "mwah" of a fretless bass. Enjoy. ;o)
